It’s Gonna be May…

Phew, it’s been about a month since we last updated everyone….and honestly, this Mothers day I thought would have looked a little bit different for me and our family. But, thats ok. We are still here, still in the process and still sending up huge prayers for God to bring us to our baby.

So, last we spoke we told yall about the stork drop baby….which, ultimately we were not chosen for.

Since then, we have seen 10 cases. WOW. 10. Isn’t that crazy. Of those 10, we have submitted to 4 of them. Several of the cases were extremely expensive, moms were in their first trimester (thats a long time for a BM to waiver on her decision) and the risk amount (ie: how much money we would loose if BM chose to parent) was around 25-28k. If that were to happen to us, financially we would not be able to continue the adoption process. Sadly, we have to weigh those things when making decisions on whether to submit or not.

BUT—as of right now we are waiting to hear back from a case where baby is born this summer and is local to the DFW area. :) Prayers are ALWAYS welcome!

Other than that, our kiddos are in their last few days of school, finishing up baseball season, winning tournaments and living their best lives! We are so super thankful for where we are in the journey, that I can even be sitting here typing this for yall to read.
