June Update:
Hey everyone, We wanted to give y’all some GOOD NEWS!!
We received a generous grant from a company called Forever Home Adoptions and they are graciously giving us $10,000 at the close of our adoption! (we are so incredibly thankful to this foundation for helping so many families be able to add to their family through adoption)
We also just found out we were accepted for a MATCHING grant from Lifesong for Orphans !! They are going to match up to $10,000 as well! Isn’t that AMAZING? First McKinney, the church we attend is generously donating $5,000 to that grant (so so thankful), so to claim the entire matching grant, we need to RAISE another $5,000!!

Ya’ll the LORD PROVIDES!! I cannot begin to tell you. Seriously, we feel so incredibly blessed and hopeful to be walking this journey. With all of ya’ll praying for us and being here through the ups and downs, it just literally makes us so incredibly happy.

In other news, and this is some BIG BIG news….We have signed on with another agency here in TX, based in DFW. It was an added expense, but we are trying to widen our reach as much as possible to give us the opportunity to match before we have to renew all of our homestudy/paperwork this fall.
With that being said, we’d really LOVE prayers for a match to happen before October. (when we have to repay for all background checks and the local, state, and federal levels & the dreaded BLOODWORK for the kids).
Thank you guys for being here, donating to our matching grant, praying for us along the way, AND for always cheering us on. There have been a lot of downs through this process, but today…today is a GOOD day in the adoption journey and we feel honored to be able to share it with you!
