TWO MONTHS ACTIVE…

Hey everyone!!

It’s been a couple weeks since we gave everyone a little update….well, today marks the 2month mark that we have been praying and waiting for our baby! We are 3 months into our 12mo contract and we have seen 6 cases.

Of those 6 cases, we have presented on 3 of them. So HALF! The other 3 cases were either out of our budget, unfortunately…..OR BM (birth mom) was still in her first trimester of pregnancy and we did not feel comfortable presenting on that early of a case. To us, that just leaves sooo many months of BM possibly changing her mind and choosing to parent. Which, is scary as an adoptive parent and would totally pull our heart strings a little too much.

BUT— we are currently out on a case right now!!! What does that mean? It means a BM is currently looking at profiles of different families to choose for her little one. We are super thankful to our friends who brought us this case…..yep, you read that right. The case we are currently out on right now isn’t even from our consulting company…..it is an outside agency we were referred to, from friends and social media!! (see, sometimes social media is a good thing ha).

This birth mom will most likely pick a family before Wednesday and we are very hesitantly hopeful on this case. This is a unique situation for us, as most cases we present to there are 25+ families the BM is picking from. This BM only has EIGHT!! we are 1 of 8 yall… wow!

Sooo, if you’re praying….just add us to your prayer list. That this sweet mama sees our profile and finds a connection and sees our Love for her, her baby and for Jesus. That it be a good fit for her and that BM feels at peace with whichever family she chooses.
