Tis the Season…

Hello everyone!

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and if you’re still celebrating, we are totally jealous. We spent SO much time with family and it never felt better. We are truly thankful for all the downtime we have had with our immediate family, extended fam and our friends this holiday season. The kids have gotten to experience so much due to our family and friends gifting them with activities this year (IMO the best type of gifts). We attended Christmas Eve Candle Light Service, (one of my favorite traditions we sadly haven’t attended for years) and I can say—the kids loved it, I loved seeing them up there on stage and I cannot wait to go again next year.

Tommy and I were also abundantly blessed with family and friends using this time to donate to our adoption! We told everyone we didn’t want gifts this year, but to spend time with them or to support and pray for our adoption and our friends and family def. came through :).

Check out this picture below….missing from this pic, but who were also wearing our sweatshirts to support the adoption were my grandparents, my brother and his girlfriend, aunt/uncles and some cousins! Gosh, no better way to feel LOVED thats for sure!

Along with our sweatshirts worn all over, we had several family members donate to our adoption fund and I am so happy to announce we have hit $3,000 on our $10,000 goal! YAY!! So SO blessed!!

On another note, I have been spending the last two days gathering all of our adoption paperwork, organizing it, labeling it and am getting ready to ship it all off to our consulting company. We are still waiting on our home study paperwork to be finished and submitted, but everything on our end is DONE!! and phew, it feels like such a relief!

We are so thankful you are here, praying for us and keeping updated! We are hoping our next ‘update’ will be when we are ACTIVE and able to see birth parents profiles and possibly match!! :)
