We got our First Case….

AHHH… what does that mean?

Well, It means we were presented a BM (birth mom) profile that met our preferences and we can now show our profile to her! YAY! We show our profile and the BM looks over all the profiles given to her and makes her decision on who she wants her child to be placed with.

Can you imagine…such a brave mama making the hardest decision of her life and we just pray that whatever decision she makes she is at peace with and the relationship blossoms for all parties involved. <3

We were told by our consultant that most families will submit their profiles to birth moms about 10-15 times before they are chosen, so we shouldn’t get our hopes up….so we are realistically hopeful, if that makes sense….

A few little details about this case, she is local and she is due the first or 2nd week of MARCH. Holy cow…what a whirlwind.

We have submitted and we should hear back Tuesday or Wednesday if we were chosen….we are here due to your prayers and we are so so thankful for them! Truly, it was just this week I posted our lack of profiles and needing your prayers….which so many of you messaged me, prayed and here we are! GOD IS SO GOOD! We will keep you updated….

Just an FYI: Some people don’t share any of this process, my hope in sharing is to open your eyes to the adoption world and what goes into someone adopting. Every story is different, but the process is similar. Thanks for being here and I’m an open book. Don’t hesitate to ask us any questions!
